She is glazed with a soft crystalline turquoise glaze that glitters like sunlight on water when in full sun, & goes dark & brooding in the rain, just like a river does when it is raining.

Based on a Classical Greek bronze head of Hypnos, the god of sleep, which was missing one wing. Mine is a feminised version, with Art Deco wings, based on those of a tawny owl, & with one wing folded over the face
