Upcoming Bronze Sculptures
I'm delighted to say that I have been commissioned to make a bronze statue of Dorchester's favourite feline, Susie!
Having met her, (and it took 3 trips to find her.... so many comfy beds, windows, office chairs, hospitals, shops, gyms, hairdressers, cafes, to try out for snoozing and having cuddles in... she's a busy kitty!), I can honestly say she is the most chilled out cat I have ever met! She knows everyone loves her and all of Dorchester is hers to wander into. Quite the most extraordinary cat and very beautiful too.
The planning Committee met on the 30th June and voted unanimously for this sculpture to have its planning permission. The finished sculpture is now at the Pangolin Edition Foundry for casting. The unveiling of the Susie sculpture is hoped to be November/December 2026, outside Julia's House on South Street, Dorchester.

A short article from the i-newspaper 21st January 2026 and a scale drawing showing how the Susie sculpture will look once installed.

2 designs currently on my sculptor's bench:
A life sized climbing Pine Marten
and a mantling female Barn Owl.
Expressions of interest for either being taken now!

The Pine Marten is having a hiatus for a few months while I work on a commission of a public statue of Susie the Cat for Dorchester, but I hope to resume the completion of this piece in a few months time.
The ball park price is around £11,000. Do contact me if you are interested as the 1st of the edition is available.
